Louisiana Festivals

When people question why Louisiana is a great place to visit or live, I tell them 2 words, “Louisiana Festivals”. There are festivals all across the state which vary from parish to parish. What is a parish you ask, it’s just like a county. Most people have only heard of a few Louisiana Festivals but we are here to tell you that there are tons more, especially during the spring and fall time. Mardi Gras is one of the largest celebrations in the state but definitely not the only. There are festivals to celebrate crawfish, strawberries, shrimp, frog, alligators, beer, burgers, music, and much more. The Cajun Traveler has the most extensive list of Louisiana Festivals.
