Breweries / Distilleries / Wineries

Louisiana boast some of the top breweries, distilleries, and wineries throughout the United States.

Sugarcane is grown for 2 main reasons: Sugar or Rum. Louisiana has an extensive sugarcane industry that employs thousands of people year round. The hot, humid, and rainy climate is perfect for sugarcane to be produced.

There are several varieties of grapes grown throughout the state that help supply our thriving wineries.

Now for all the beer lovers out there, try one of the local brews when you’re in the area. If you prefer straight alcohol, check out the local distilleries. Depending on your timing, you can even experience a guided tour. And finally, for all my wine lovers out there, check out one of the wineries listed below.
