Everyone has a place they call HOME, whether it’s where you were born, where you grew up, or where you live now. We have 2 goals at The Cajun Traveler:
- Help the locals like you to share some of the top landmarks, activities, food, history, and culture in your area.
- Help travelers find awesome activities and adventures to experience while traveling the world.
If you have recently traveled to an awesome location or experienced a fun adventure, please share your experience with us by clicking on this contact form.
The Cajun Traveler currently calls Louisiana home.
Louisiana consist of several large cities with New Orleans being the most commonly known.
Baton Rouge, the capital of Louisiana, is the second largest city in the state. Of course New Orleans is the largest. The area surrounding Baton Rouge, known as Greater Baton Rouge, is the home to approximately 830,000 residents. It’s often referred to as a “big city with a small town vibe.”
The Cajun Traveler was created because too often do we hear people say there is nothing to do in their town. We are here to change that! There are adventures all over the world, you just have to know where to look. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be good at planning vacations or trips. Let us help you find your next adventure!!
Contact us to add your recent adventures or experiences to this website. We would love to hear of new places to visit. We are constantly looking for the next thing to experience.
Keep an eye out as these pages will constantly be updated or just subscribe to the website for email notifications. We try our best to share the post and pages on our Facebook account.
The Cajun Traveler would love to come visit your home town and experience the hidden gems that only the locals know about. We love to go canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, walking, and biking. We also love to tour top landmarks, breweries / wineries / distilleries, try new cuisine, listen to live music, attend comedy shows, attend festivals, ride four-wheelers / dirt bikes / UTV’s, ride horses, check out museums / art, and tour plantations or other cultural locations and sights. You name it, we would like to try it!! Fear is only for the unknown, confidence comes from pushing yourself and accomplishing the things you never thought was possible.
